Hang up the phone. The sooner, the better. I am a web designer and got an email from a guy about a website asking me to call him the next day. He didn’t provide a phone number in the email, and stated that his budget is $250,000. Sounds pretty bogus, right? Well, I give him a break and email him back to say that he didn’t leave a number in the email. So he emails back with a number, and I think ok, well maybe this is a legitimate person who just pushed the zero key too hard when entering his budget. After all he forgot to list a phone number, so it’s not to much of a stretch. So, I call him back the next day. And this paranoid person answers the phone, “Hello”? Being a huge Matrix fan, I found this quite humorous :) It’s from www.captchart.com, which makes funny little illustrated anecdotes to random CAPTCHA phrases. If you’re unfamiliar with CAPTCHA, it’s the wobbly looking security-codes that you fill out when using an online form. They’re purpose is to prevent automated spam-bots from sending their unwanted emails through forms found on websites. Sometimes the random words combine to make silly visuals. View more at CAPTCHArt

Hello all, it’s been over a year since my last update. I know, what kind of blogger am I, right? No ethics at all… But sometimes life leads us away from our projects. I have no real explanation except that I’ve just been too busy. Lately I’ve found all these little things I’d like to blog about, and that has inspired me to re-format the Anthropod Blog and make the time to update it more regularly. So……. here goes!
